Advanced Stylist

Flora grew up in South Korea, where she first noticed a gap in the styles around her — balayage, highlights, natural curls she hadn’t seen at home. That curiosity took her to Vancouver in 2017, where she trained at Vancouver Community College, then spent several years building her skills at a Vancouver salon, working with every hair type from fine to coarse, straight to curly.

She moved to Kelowna in 2021 and joined the Ford Salon team.

Flora specializes in dimensional colour, perms, and transformations both small and dramatic. She listens closely before she starts, so the cut or colour actually fits the client’s life, and she sends every guest home with the haircare and styling know-how to keep it looking right day to day.

Her favourite part of the job: taking a client out of the everyday ponytail and into a style that makes them feel like themselves again.
